VW stopping OTA updates for ID software 3.0

This video from the Battery Life channel explains that VW is throwing in the towel with updating ID cars OTA from 2.x to 3.x and if you haven’t got the update yet then you’ll have to get it done by the dealer.
Once they get 3.2, subsequent updates will still be OTA.
As the Born is so similar to the ID.3 I’d be suprisse if this doesn’t also turn out to be the case for the Born.
