Would the could the e boost be retrofitted to my v3 ?
Hopefully steering wheel & firmware is all I need.
My luck probably module & also a harness.
May be a bit much even if it is possible as I wouldn't want to void warranty??

Say goodbye to your warranty.

First, you would have to flash the e boost firmware onto the inverter.

HOWEVER seeing as the e boost motor has a different MKB (!!), who knows if it could handle the higher thermal and mechanical loads. Not only that, the e boost has larger front brakes for obvious reasons.

Furthermore, the gear ratio on the non-e boost Born and ID.3 motors is 11.52 instead of 12.97 on the e boost.

So at 160km/h, the e boost motor is running at a maximum of 16000rpm whereas the ID.3 and non e boost Born is only at 14500rpm. Incidentally this means the non e boost could reach 180km/h at 16000rpm. I read that some enthousiast auto engineers have already demonstrated this.

tldr; the e boost has a different motor & gear ratio. Using e boost software might damage a non e boost motor
