Hi all, new member here. We’ve been enjoying our born for about a month. Unfortunately last night in the driving rain I took out the passenger wing mirror (slight lapse of concentration!). I popped out the internals (a few internal clips snapped), cracked the indicator and smashed the glass. Was able to get it all back in place but my mirror looks like a disco ball.

Not able to get to the dealer for a month or so (work stuff) so looking for the glass mirror online to change myself in the meantime. Seen an aftermarket id3 option on eBay but has anyone done something similar or know where I can get one quick? Thanks in advance.

Also, when I next turned the car on the speakers were emitting very loud static. I wasn’t about to stop this at the time but leaving the car off for 30mins seemed the fix this. Weird.

The mirrors are also the same as the Golf (mk9 is it?), if that makes it easier to get a replacement.

I too have a black eunos but that’s another conversation…
