Hi
Just thinking if I would be able to get park assist fitted to my v3 later or even next year, did try to get a car with Tech l kit but was impossible with other extras I wanted.
I noticed there is a camera in the front grill but I don't know the extra modules & harnesses to upgrade to tech l. Would my steering box accept this or not?
Also would dealership spot in diagnostic scan that this has been coded in & invalidate my warranty.

Does it have the parking sensors and reversing camera? If so I wouldn’t be surprised if you can just buy the feature in the future from the shop in the infotainment.
I’m pretty sure the car can steer itself anyway due to lane assist and the anti collision protection.

Hi Guys
I have all sensors & rear camera etc as it's a v3,
it's the self park feature that i wanted to have retrofitted at sometime, I'm sure it's on the tech L option as this has the camera in the front grill?

Mines a V1 but with Tech L and the self parking. Don’t think it’s got a camera in the front grill though. It does by the rear view mirror. I’ll have a look later.

Fairly sure there is no front camera with Tech L pack
Cupra Born V2, Aurora Blue
The hood-mounted camera along with the 2x side-view mirror cameras are solely for the 360-degree view.
According to VW/Cupra, parking assist does not use any cameras, only the ultrasonic sensors.
