Anyone got any ideas how I would draw a subwoofer sound signal from the existing stereo for my Stock 5 speaker born? (Central speaker for phone calls, alerts, A pillar tweeters, door mid/bass)
I was thinking of installing one of these... but I have literally no idea how I would draw a sound signal from my existing OEM system?!
Would you draw the bass signal from the head unit, or the door speakers? Would anyone know what connector and parts would be needed?

I have a late 2023 Born V2 with the standard setup, not Beats - it definitely has rear speakers as the car has a fader and it’s very obvious when you move the sound front to rear. I’m surprised people are not happy with this version tbh - my son likes what I’d call techno/dance music and it has plenty of volume with no obvious issues or lack of bass. IMHO these aren’t enthusiast luxury cars, just a regular hatchback that you pay more money for as they’re an EV so I don’t really expect concert standard in car entertainment. My Born is certainly no different to any of the VW group cars I’ve had in the sound department , in fact as it’s so quiet to drive I have the sound cranked lower as it doesn’t have to be heard over the engine!
