Price Increase

My local Cupra dealer told me that there will be a £1800 price increase on the Born from 1 Oct. I don't know if anyone else has heard about this? The guy was telling me this to try and make me hurry up and make a purchase (actually I have already ordered one - I just went to the dealer to have a look as I hadn't seen one up close).
