If anyone is about to order (or has) an e-Boost and doesn't want the 19" Typhoon Copper wheels, would you be willing to order the car with them and ill pay the difference and swap for my Silver ones? Long shot I know, but for some maddening reason the copper wheels are only an option for the e-boost cars.

You might be waiting a while for that request to be fulfilled. All of the current wave of V2 stock intended for demos coming through now that you can see on the likes of Autotrader are on silver Typhoons, including the 2 e-boosts we have at home. Anyone making a factory fresh order to accomodate your request will likely be waiting quite a white for their car.

There might be a quicker alternative...

Those "Copper" Typhoons are still polished silver alloy, but the lacquer has been tinted to give that copper appearance, you might find a wheel specialist willing and able to apply tint to your existing wheels silver bits.

Is that all, so will come off as soon as the Mrs kerbs it? Maybe not so attractive then. Cheers.

If they were real copper, they'd weigh a fair bit and the copper would turn green when the missus kerbs them!

Yeah, I didn't think they'd be real copper!
Still thought they might be 'gold' coloured a bit more than skin deep.

There is a guy on Cupra Born FACEBOOK group selling copper coloured film - not sure how long they would last but a few people have bought them and seem happy enough at the moment.

Thanks! I’ve already emailed him after somebody mentioned it. Around £40 I think, he was waiting for feedback on the first batch, then I’ll likely put an order in.
