Variable Boot Floor

Am I right in saying that the Variable boot floor found in some models of ID.3 is not available on the Cupra Born ?

As I am used to such a floor in my previous car, I was wondering if it would be possible to retrofit one as per some of the ID.3 guys ?

https://shop.ahw-shop.de/original-vw-id ... usHlycTRRc

This is listed to fit the Cupra Born, so assume the captive nuts required are fitted behind the carpet, but hey, who knows !!

Just wondering if anyone has had similar thoughts or even tried to fit one ?

Would be really useful to store charging cables and other stuff under the floor..

Have a look on the ID3 forum - people have done this with their ID3 Life and Pure specs that don't have it. It is an easy fit that involves cutting a few small squares of carper out of the boot and screwing the sides directly into the bodywork. Never fellt the need on my ID3 Life, and the type 2 charging lead easily fits into the recess under the boot carpet as it is.

I’ve been looking, it is available as a factory fit option, but is bundled with the granny charger and costs ~£350 but there’s a retro fit part too. I’m pretty sure it’s the same part as the ID.3: https://seatdirectparts.co.uk/parts/cup ... oot-floor/

Can’t make my mind up if I want to do it yet, will wait until I’ve got the car next week and make up my mind.
