Yes they are same make as the ones in the YouTube link, had them on my last Audi for nearly three years without any problems.

Just search in Aliexpress as I can’t get link to copy over. £12 ish so very inexpensive.

Yes, do look nice..

Seem easy enough to fit and cheap as chips, so just ordered some.

So Betty, how long did they take you to fit, any issues along the way ?

Thanks

They are super easy, I just warmed the mirror glass first with hair dryer, two clips behind glass that hold the mirror cover on then two screws holding the indicator strip in.
The video is spot on to follow.

So, arrived today, one FitCamX to fit ID.3/Cupra Born, all the way from China..

So Betty, any final tips on fitting before I have a go, bit worried about breaking clips or similar ?

Would appreciate any more info at all..

Ta.

The front mirror cover is just clipped on, I would use a plastic pry tool to bring it away from the windscreen.

The connector you have to piggyback into has a small tab to release, as long as the keys are outside the car and you don’t press the brake you can remove with no issues.

The dash cam trim just clips back in, the tiny trim bit above mirror is a bit tricky to snap back in but does fit perfectly once in place.

If you just have front that’s the easiest of the two, rear is more tricky.

Right then, FitcamX installed, all done and working..

I did manage to break one of the clips though, the cover came away from the windscreen easy enough, but I struggled to release the cover from the narrower part of the cover that goes upto the headlining.

One side came undone, but I think I rotated it a bit to far to look underneath to see shat was holding it, and the clip broke.

No worries though, as all assembled back together and seems to hold perfectly in place, so I am hopeful.
Should it give problems and droop at one side, I will look to replace the narrower bit when parts are more readily available.

Pleased with the operation and look of the FitCamX, seems to do the job nicely..
