After getting caught with a puncture, I really want a spare wheel..

Really interested in the boot floor mod so the space saver can be stored under it.

I have fitted the the boot floor kit in the standard way, and would be really interested to know how the side rails are modified to raise the floor enough to store the wheel.

Have you any installation pics or notes ?

It’s just a case of lifting the side rails and re drilling the 2 holes lower, also I had to cut off one of the rear upper pegs and cut the rear where it fits over the lashing point.
I’ll try take some pictures of each side then you can see.

Not sure if I'd want to carry space saver, but how handy is it to have this adjustable boot floor.
It looks good, but what would I gain fitting one as it doesn't seem like that much of a gap to store extra gear.
Could someone post any applicable photos of how this is used to it's full potential?

It’s a great place to store your cable and granny charger with the added bonus of levelling the boot floor to match the rear seats folded forward.

Ah , so it's perfectly flat when seats are down for easy loading.

I added the kit myself as mentioned here but without the modifications.

Do you think I could also fit bottom boot load liner after this is installed as sometimes I carry heavy boxes in boot when I'm out & about & don't want to risk damaging the boot floor mod.
I do agree though it looks the part when fitted!

There are two versions of the OEM liner. One for the standard floor and one for the raised floor. I have the one for the raised floor and it may possibly fit underneath if you remove the boot floor. I don’t know if the standard floor one would fit underneath as I don’t have it.

That may be the better item anyway & a money saver!
