Is this through purchasing on the online store or software update?

This is the long coding, Thanks to the guys from id3 forum, but slight difference in mine is the memory after ignition cycle has been coded.

Before bytes 6 7 and 8 are 08 E0 and 07

After bytes 6 7 8 are 10 F4 and 16 if you want it to remember last setting

This seems amazing! I have a V2 with Tech L and would love to do this to mine. I don't understand how to do it? is a step by step guide possible? or to point me in the right direction. Thanks

If you have OBDeleven then it’s just a case of clicking on long coding, that brings up all the borns control units, your looking for A5 in there bytes 6 7 and 8 need changing to the new values, then press and hold save and your done 👍

No, it's pretty much useless without the capacitative steering wheel that isn't standard fit on the ID3 or the Born. Without the capacitative wheel, the car assumes you're not in control, unless you jerk the steering wheel within every 15 seconds, as it can't detect your grip. TA is supposed to guide you around the bends, to just have a gentle grip on the wheel. When you have to jerk the wheel every 15 seconds, which then requires the TA to correct it, it is pointless. I have it enabled on mine purely to ha e an extra lit button on the steering wheel.

Been out today in ours and the amount of touch to correct is very minimal, just a slight grip on the wheel cancels the warning but if you drive with your hand / hands on the wheel it assist you and found it very impressive especially on the corners.

Not driven a car with it factory fitted but I’ll definitely use on a long motorway run.
