I tend to store my MP3 files on a USB stick in the centre console
Anyone know of a work-around for the retarded feature where it takes all your MP3 files out of their folders and just make one huge list of the tracks?
Then, the stupid touchscreen moans at you for 'not paying attention to the road' as you scroll through 200 tracks looking for your music.
Just leave them in the folders then

I have my MP3 files sorted in folders and they are shown folders, not like a huge list of tracks. It looks like you have flaw in the system.
How did you format the usb drive? Mine's in FAT32.

Yep. Tried all options. Been reading the ID3 forums.... apparently its a thing
Mine works correctly too.
A couple of things to note, my files are Apple Lossless MP4 but I doubt that matters.
The other thing is that they are all tagged with the correct artist, album and track names.
I suspect that's what the car uses to group tracks together and it completely ignores folders.
Try tagging your MP3s to see if that fixes it.
