I am on my sixth attenpt at trying to instal the update without any luck. I get as far as the Screen (Over rhe Air Update duration approx 215 minutes) and under neath it says "Close Wimdows"
The UPDATE button in the bottom left does not iliminate so any amout of clicking is futile.
I have made sure that the lights are off and windows are closed as the APP confirms.
If I click the go back btutton the "UpDates" screen says " Installation will start when you turn off the vehicle".
I get out, close the and lock the doors and make sure that the key is in the house at least 15 meters away but after 6 hours nothing has happened.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong or is this just another Cupra bit of poor software programming.

Is the for the OUL9 update? So it still says "Close Windows" even though they are closed? Try opening one (eg the driver's window) slightly and closing it again. Just got the update today, surprise, surprise, it says 215 minutes. It's funny how almost everyone gets the same time. The only other thing I can think of is that they might have a hard coded value for a 4G mobile connection and a, different, lower one if the car is connected to WiFi.

Then I don’t know why you saw a different time to almost everyone else, and also in hours and minutes instead of just minutes

Ok, yours was from 1701. Mine and (most?) others were from 0561 which could explain the time difference and the user of hours/minutes and not just minutes. It would also seem to confirm that the install time is, as I suspected, not dependent on your network connection, and hard coded based on the upgrade path.
Anyway, after pretty much exactly 215 minutes my update was done, and it's all good. Haven't spent enough time with the car since then to detect any changes, although I did get the new AppStore / Shop app that allowed me to extend my Cupra Connect subscription and a couple of other apps like being able to pay for parking from the car, which seems weird.
