Hi all,

I’m in the process of swapping out the average beats system and have come across a bit of an issue. After removing the rear speakers I have now lost the parking sensors. I have chose to run new cables so have left the stock cabling in place.

Do the sensors run on the same circuit as the speakers therefore unplugging them has left it in an open circuit, therefore messing the sensors? I have ran diagnostics and can see the following under Lane Change Assistant and Parking Assistant:

Databus error value received, error code: U112300

Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I was installing rear speakers (using the kit from Kufatec) I also lost parking sensors whilst I was in the middle of the install. I had the wiring loom of one of the rear doors disconnected. I was doing the work outside and was just driving the car into the garage when I had this issue.
However, once the install was finished and everything was connected up again the issue went away.

I opened the rear speakers with obd11 but didn't install rear speakers i have reversed everything in obd11 but the parking sensor error is still there
Thanks

As I mentioned, after I finished the installation the issue went away (before I did anything with OBD11). I assume it was a temporary glitch due to having some of the door wiring not connected.

Yeah, it's totally possible the parking sensors and rear speakers share a circuit. Unplugging the speakers probably interrupted the signal to the sensors. That error code points to a data bus problem, which fits. Glad you ran new speaker wires, that's smart.
