So had our first reasonably long drive this week in the Born, From Durham to Leeds, 200 mile round trip.

Managed to get there with 54% remaining, averaged 3.7m/kWh (I think) travelling between 62 to 68mph, so not bad. Stopped off on the way back, as the lad needed something to eat, and topped up at Gridserve at Wetherby services on the A1. Topped up from 44% to 85% and stuck the cruise on at 70mph, got back with about 35% left, so not a great difference.

Also found out how to adjust the cruise control in 1mph increments rather than using the +/- which changes in 5mph increments... the set and res buttons! Bizarre, although no doubt everyone else except me knew this.

I didn’t know that about the cruise, thanks!

We were at that Gridserve couple of weekends ago, 2nd stop en route from the south to Middlesbrough. Car didn’t need 2 stops but we did 🙂

Having read a couple of things on here this week, thought I,d check a couple of things...

Looks like my Android Auto has updated! Much better!

And I tested out the rear camera washer. It has a washer nozzle just to the left of it as you look at it, which sprays yhe camera when the rear wash is used!
I checked it with the reverse camera on whilst I activated the rear washer

This is whilst it's being squirted.

I am proud of the fix I devised...after 2 years of frustration with the REAR window toggle. I routinely open the rear window by mistake...switch to front and then try to close the rear!window...massively frustrating and forces you to look down at it. So - i have bluetacked a lolly stick over the REAR toggle and behold, i now never hit the REAR window by accident. I've already disabled Lane Assist which was my previous number 1 bugbear. The one remaining irritation is the user login OK button - we only use one userid - but i feel I can live with that
