CUPRA ID when adding car: "VIN backend unknown"

Hello,
I have with adding my Cupra Born vehicle to Cupra ID app.
First I was able to add it but only as a guest. Then I removed the car from the garage and wanted to add it as a main user but unfortunately the car is not able to Log in into Cupra ID anymore and when I try to add my car into Cupra ID app using VIN code I get the message "VIN backend unknown" - see the enclosed picture.
I bought the car as a used one if that might have some influence.
Any idea how to proceed?
