The routines section in the infotainment system is just empty and the pen at the top right of the screen to create a routine is greyed out. I'm not getting any reduced charge and my Zappi still charges at 7kWh. I've raised a case with Cupra support (case number 0002063101 should you wish to quote it!). They've passed the info on to their technical department, but that was 3 days ago and so far, no further word on the matter. The more folks that report this issue, the more chance there is of getting a fix.
Hi,

Did you ever get this issue with the routines fixed? My car was updated and I have no routines and can't create any.

Had my car with the dealer today (for tyre recall check) and they connected the car onto the Cupra system to check for outstanding issues and potential updates. Was told that my car was now fully up to date and was on software 3.1???????? The car was manufactured wk51 2022 so I would have thought I was definitely on software version 3.2? Also when I mentioned 3.2.1 just got blank response. So questions?..........1. Is there any way of knowing whether I'm on 3.1 or 3.2. 2. Maybe a stupid question but is 3.2.1 for every car or is it for cars with problems ( battery potential faults etc)). It would be great if someone could enlighten me on this. Thanks in advance

Have any improvements to the Satnav function been included with the 3.2.1 update. Awful interface even if you ignore the lag. Thanks.

One of the reasons for the display lag on the Born is "Komponentenschutz", aka Component Protection, aka GEKO.

It's a protective software mechanism that prevents control units etc. from simply being installed in another vehicle or operated outside the vehicle.

If this is triggered, it can only be deactivated again by a specialist company with GEKO access.

But obviously when poorly implemented this protection adds processing overhead and makes everything sluggish. Funnily enough, the 10" displays on the ID.3 didn't have this protection.

I've read that the lag is mainly due to non-stop component protection queries and the supposed good news is that the next batch of OTA updates (post 3.2.1) could contain a fix for this.

This speed-up has already been observed by ID-series owners who received ABT/display software version 6091 from the factory - and which still has the same infotainment hardware as the Born.

Good to know it's probably software related so could be improved over time. Thanks
