I noticed that there is now now recall for my car but it has been dated to may even I had just recently (a month ago) all other recalls done. Any idea what this is?

Been there, done that. I had the bonnet of a Bitsamissin Pajero fly open at 110kph while on a gravel road! It also partially caved the roof in. There was never a recall for this and yet I know of several Pajeros that had the same problem, including the bloke I worked with, whose bonnet catch broke the very next day after mine. We took delivery of our vehicles one day apart, mine broke at 35,000km and his broke at 35,500km. Too much of a coincidence.TheBornIDentity wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 8:39 pm
My guess on the pin striker is that it can let the bonnet fly up into the windscreen. I’ve seen that happen to a completely different car coming the other way. It was pretty much instantaneous. I was so concerned for the driver I stopped the car and turned around to help him. It had smashed his windscreen and damaged both A pillars. The guy was visibly shaking.
This is an update for the inverter which controls the motor. 3.0.3b was OTA but it's suspected that the workshop 3.2.1 update overwrote this for some owners and so now 3.0.3c has to be done in the workshop. This can unfortunately happen. I read reports of people getting TPI 2068408 to address the forgotten settings bug, then later getting the 3.2.1 update and that bug returned. TPI 2068408 had to then be reapplied, which is why I asked my workshop to do both updates in the reverse order.

OurBorn is in on Thurs for warranty work - rearview camera not working. There are 5 (yes 5!) Recall actions to perform on it at the same time, they need it 2 days for the recalls.
