Strange Green Spot!!!

Odd one this. After accepting an update today I noticed the HUD display was dimmer than usual and would fade and come back but what was most bizarre is a bright green spot/dot that moved around the area above the HUD where the augmented reality stuff appears. It sat mostly central over the HUD like a little UFO hovering there. It was a real distraction. It eventually moved further and further left until it just disappeared!!!
The HUD eventually settled down although I felt sure the update has made some changes to the HUD display??.
I wish I was able to video it. It was really strange.

I’ve seen something like that on a few occasions (not linked to any update) and I have concluded that it was an optical effect resulting from light entering the cabin from certain unusual directions (and particularly strong light)

I get the Green spot too, normally on bright sunny days.
Also noticed HUD is not as bright as it used be, checked and display is at 100%

My car did it again today, the spot appeared, moved around a bit and disappeared.
