Charging cable plug covers

My charging cable only has a cover for one of the plugs - the one that plugs into the charger. Is this right? I can't help feeling there should be a cover for the other end too.

Nope, just one plug cover here too. I guess the assumption is that if you need to leave it outside, one end will always be plugged in to something.

Yes, but the end without the cover is the wrong one - or can it be swapped over?

Mine only fits on the car end, which is what I'd expect as I can't think of any scenario where you'd leave the cable plugged into the car, but not into a charger.

I may be going mad here, but I'm pretty sure mine is the other way round!
