Is it worth having an e-boost? I've recently ordered a V2 without an e-boost and, this morning, got a call from the dealer asking if I wanted to add e-boost to the order.

Is it worth having an e-boost? I've recently ordered a V2 without an e-boost and, this morning, got a call from the dealer asking if I wanted to add e-boost to the order.

I would, for what it costs extra. The difference is very noticeable, if not startling. Imagine you've got a reasonably quick ICEV, and you're sitting in 6th gear at 50mph. You drop a few gears and accelerate hard. The non E-Boost variant feels like the acceleration you'd get if you dropped to 4th, the E-Boost variant feels like you dropped to 3rd instead. Not noticeably quicker 0-20mph, but above tgat you'll notice the difference.

I had a 204ps ID3 before the V2 E-Boost, so I have experienced the difference.

Also, it looks like an e-boost holds its value more judging from the PCP future value predictions.
I can't comment on the driving experience difference as I only test drove e boost variants.

E-Boost here and I love it so I’d say yes.
