Hi there

Picked up our Cupra Born a couple of weeks ago from Faintree Seat/Cupra in Shrewsbury. Delightful experience from start to finish and excellent customer service from Tom Sneade, their Cupra Specialist.

Absolutely love the car! Yes, we've had a few issues with the app (my wife still can't get to the car home screen) and phone connection (more of that below), but on the whole, we are very impressed. Managed to get one that was already in production (I had to compromise on wheels and audio upgrade) so only had to wait 6 weeks for it, which was nice.

A couple of DIY upgrades that I'm working on (I'll post again when sorted)
1) Wireless charger
2) Copper wheel rim decals (for 19" Tornado)

Back to the phone connectivity issue...
Interested if anyone else has experienced this.
Android phone (Samsung S22 Ultra) connected via Full Link (this we did in the showroom before I drove off) was working fine. Received WhatsApp messages, etc., so data connectivity was fine. Then it wasn't. Android Auto still connects, but won't allow any data-related functionality. It's like once it's connected to the car's wi-fi (to enable Wireless Android Auto), the phone no longer allows any data connection. Or should that all come via the car's SIM? Either way, it's not working how it should. What's worse is I've deleted the phone from the car (to see if a refresh solves it) and now it won't reconnect to Full Link! A minor issue in the scheme of things, but you know what it's like...

Looking forward to engaging with this forum and reading all about your Born adventures
