Does anyone know what user profiles do? We have the Cupra Born v2 and all the settings, widget layouts, wing mirror positions, HUD position, map locations etc seem to be global. Is anything actually per user?

So far I’ve only noticed radio stations temperature and ambient light but then after a few days of not using car it all goes to pot.

Hmm that's not fantastic. Seems odd to put all the effort into having separate user profiles and the ability to switch on start for it to be largely useless. Fingers crossed for a future update that makes it more useful!

The dealer where I got mine said it'll also set the seat position too, assuming you have the electric seats.

I'd be interested to hear if it actually does do that because I asked around a few cupra dealers, the majority said it didn't, but some said it did. We ended up with V2 anyway so manual seats for us.

Yeah it doesn’t save seat positions, even though its says “may affect seats “ when changing user, does anyone know any different?

On this when you press synchronise user what does it actually do when it decides to work most of the time it just ignores me but sometimes it does synchronise but I don't actually know what settings it has taken as they all seem to revert back to defaults anyway

Regardless of the potential for user-specific functions, it's pointless forcing a user to login every time they sit in the driver seat. And if you only register one user the car shouldn't even show that login prompt. The software developers clearly aren't on this planet
