Just got my new V1 born and I have noticed how stiff the front suspension is. Has anyone else noticed this ? When I go over pot holes or small jumps the front end hardly moves causing a loud bang in the car. Is there a suspension setting I can alter ?

Just make sure the dealer hasn’t left the transportation blocks in.

|I once had a new Golf GTD (2013) where the dealership had left a set in. Might be worth mentioning that to get access like the photos above, jack the car up around each of the front wheels (one at a time will do), and as the wheel hangs down, the gap between the wheel top and the wheel arch will increase, giving better access. There are sometimes red/pink transport pucks as well as the blue ones. These transport pucks are only fitted to the front end.

I'm not sure why they're fitted to EVs as the weight distribution is perfectly even. Their main purpose is to stop the heavy front end of an ICE car bobbing around around on the ship, with the weight of an engine or gear box under those front wheels.

Thank you for your advice. I got the transportation blocks removed by the dealer today. They hardly commented.

Might also be worth checking your tyre pressures, my grounding problem was due to all tyres being around 20 psi, suspect dealer/manufacturer under inflated them.
