I requested the charging voucher for my Born as already have a home charger. Have set up the account, activated the voucher and received a charging card which I have linked to the account. How do I use this credit at a public charging station. Went to a station yesterday that was on the map but couldn’t see how to use the credit, the card doesn’t seem to be an RIFD card? Plugged the cable into the car from the charger but the charger didn’t recognise/accept the card? Hoping this is me just being thick? should I have used the cupra app and once car plugged in press charge now??

I have been trying for some time to resolve this issue and haven’t been able to use the card or plug and charge option yet.
1 issue is that Cupra/Elli told me is that the email address, bank card and account name must be your name(full). I have had a lot of discussions with them about this and they have altered my account to reflect my reality. Unfortunately the only local Ionian charger to me has had its cable cut off again so unable to see if it now works.
It is very frustrating and I didn’t find Cupra/Elli helpful at all in my dealings with them.
On top of that I have been unable to call the helpline number from my mobile, it works ok from a landline. I have told them this but it still didn’t work when I last tried, just over a week ago.
I hope you have some success in sorting it, I’ve had my car since September and still haven’t been able to use the credit.

Wondering if the charging card is Electroverse?

If yes I have had many issues using this on my current ev Peugeot e208 gt - firstly trying to use the app then giving up with that and going to card swipe. Sometimes it fails to register and I unplug everything , start my car , stop the car again plug in car then swipe card then plug into charger and.............nothing

Very frustrating but thankfully i have a home charger and only received my credit of £100 when recommending a colleague to salary sacrifice. Other thing to note it that the real value is a lot less than the £100 ( i worked it out at about £30-£40 compared with home charging costs)

Interested to hear how others get on as I will be getting my £700 charging credit when I pick up my car later this year

Yikes I hope I don’t have the same probs as those mentioning the charge card.Mine stopped working 25.01.2025 although I still have credit. On the back of that I receive a threatening email from Elli on the day it stopped working claiming I owe them £22.68 for the transaction and insist I reimburse them within 7 days or they will be taking the matter further. The transaction clearly shows on my charge card?

Confused? So regrettably I had to call CUPRA customer services. My goodness what a total shower of s##t that so called service is.Long story short my enquiry has been referred to a case manager to resolve.I very much doubt that will be a straightforward promptly resolved satisfactory outcome.

Will let you know the outcome within the next couple of months when they may have resolved as from previous experience when dealing with Cupra this appears to be their SLA timescale.

I think one other post mentioned the Elli’s Customer Service number that doesn’t exist.I’m sure they like to keep me second guessing and waste as much of my precious time as is poss.

My experience of this charging credit has been bad too. When I ordered the car in Q3 they said I was eligible, then they confirmed again that I was still eligible in Q4. When I took delivery, the dealer said I needed to request this charge card credit directly from CUPRA, who are refusing because I ordered the vehicle under Q3's offer and received it under Q4's offer (even though it's the same offer and the dealer told me it was fine). Sounds like it's not being very well administered from either side of things

The dealer told me it used to be a pre-paid Mastercard, then they switched over to a "charge card", but they didn't specifically say if it was Electroverse.
