Hi all,
Due to pick up my Born on Monday, the dealer has been on to me asking if I would be interested in the Born service plan.
It's going to be costing €34 a month so about €1200 over the 3 years I plan to have the car.
As you can see from the above what is included.
Any opinions on it I'm mad to consider it?
Thanks in advance.

New Born Service plan - is it worth it
I wouldn't expect you to need brake pads or wiper blades in the first 2 or 3 years. My first service (including valet) cost £135. Tyres are £190 each for tyres identical to those it came with new, but you can probably find cheaper. but I would want some clarification on what tyres they would replace with.
I would say that it works out about right so I wouldn't bother and maybe put €34 in the bank each month.
Also, I got caught out once on a previous car because it came with a 2 year service plan but I didn't come in for the second service before the 2 years were up and they made me pay 50% of it. The fact the car had variable servicing and didn't require a service was irrelevant, apparently!
Also, I had a friend with a Mercedes service plan and he unexpectedly had to get a bigger car, they wouldn't transfer the service plan over to his new Merc.

Like nearly everything from a dealer it’s generally a rip off. Unless you are doing high km and are very heavy on the brakes, you want need pads as regen is used most of the time.
In 3 years you only need 1 service. Basically you are only paying for the tyres but that depends on your annual mileage, and you can do them yourself cheaper and choose your own. Also change your wiper blades yourself, I did mine not long after getting it as I prefer a higher quality and quieter blade.

As Ponk says, it's a rip off. EVs require almost no maintenance so dealers are trying anything they can to extract some money out of EV owners.
