Hi,
How do I turn on the windshield heat, while in the car, and let it continue to heat when I step out of the car to use my ice scraper (like any gasoline car can do).
This is needed if I have forgotten to preheat the windshield, when I get into my Born, I want to turn on the windshield heat, while I stand outside and remove ice with my ice scraper.
This morning when I turned on the windshield heat, it turned off every time I stepped out of the car to use the ice scraper. Really frustrating

When you get out of the car press the 'engine start stop' button that is on the steering column and it will turn the ignition back on. I use this as well for the 12v socket and pumping up the tyres

Isn't it easier just to turn on the heating remotely?
