I'm looking at leasing my next Born and wondered if anyone knows what the differences are with models listed as 58kW v those at 59kW?
Other than 1kW the cars seem identical specs???
Help appreciated.

the 59kW is the minor refresh with the upgraded 12.9" infotainment, illuminated temp / volume controls under the infotainment, and the gear selector moved from the display behind the wheel, to the wheel itself. Having used the old laggy infotainment on the test drive, but having received the new one, i can tell you it's a night and day improvement

Do you have any photos of that? That seems like a radical change, and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else.

Thanks! Not sure I'm a fan of that. Means the wipers, headlights and indicators are all on the left stalk. I haven't seen how they've done that, but could be confusing.

Not a Born, but from an ID7 with the same style of new stalks

It's fine. Not confusing at all. There's a lot in one stalk but you quickly get used to it.

Definitely get the 2025 spec Born. The infotainment system is excellent.
