Ah okay thanks for letting me know. I'm guessing its a Android OS or Android Auto update to blame that just happened to completely coincide with me updating my car software!

Not been in the car for a while, update message popped up today, also the message for turning off the side lights, install button wouldn’t highlight until all lights were off. Was gonna charge as it’s at 40% but didn’t bother as don’t want to mess up the process, wife freaking out about having only 40% and tomorrow being the long drive day of work and shopping, about 24km total

My iPhone won’t connect to the car wirelessly. It will wired. No real issue as it’s charging my phone.

Every time I’m in the car it pops a message saying “new settings available for your profile”. Which doesn’t seem to do anything other than turn off heated seats and reduce temp in the cabin.

The "new settings available" bug was fixed in an OTA update a while back if I remember correctly. I haven't seen that in ages.

OTA update arrived yesterday. All went smoothly overnight and then had to update an app which looks like it was the Digital Manual. No new features. Media favourites layout still weird and can't save driving preferences but infotainment seems responsive.

What version were you on before?

Was on 3.2.1. Had that in Nov 23 I think at same time as the big battery recall foul up. Not sure what that showed up as on the screen. Will be a cross ref in this thread.

I'm getting a horrible delay on both the Android Auto touch inputs and the display image (so like the map while driving, speed I'm doing etc). What's strange is it seems that the longer I drive the longer this delay gets. I did my 25 minute commute today, and when I parked up the input delay was 26 seconds, the map still showed me on the main road doing 30mph, and the time was showing one minute behind! I then did a 10 minute drive later in the day and these delays were about 3 seconds when I parked up.

No idea what's going on, but this was not a problem until I updated the car. Funny thing is when these delays are happening, if I tap the climate control for example (so something other than the Android Auto interface) it responds immediately...

And for reference I'm running AA wirelessly, haven't tried wired yet.

Anyone else experiencing this after the update?

I gave up on AA as it was so slow to load and unreliable before this upgrade. My thought was maybe an Android update on phone had introduced a problem.

Hi all - I initiated the update around 17:30 yesterday and as of 8am this morning it’s still not finished. I called Cupra Assist, and after a brief period on hold they advised to give it until lunch time today (19 hours!?) and call back if still incomplete.

They mentioned that another driver had called through this morning with the same issue, so I’m assuming there was an issue with their servers overnight or something - I’d be keen to hear if anyone else has experienced the same issue recently?

My Cupra app was down on Monday I think. Looks like they did something with the servers. App is back working and seems to be loading quicker and faster now.

Wireless CarPlay also stopped working for me after the Born OTA update. However, I deleted my phone from the devices list of the car and then re-added it and now it's all working again.
