It has listed all the updates I've been able to apply in the past, and now lists 2 new ones:
OTA Update OUL9* for Born
* Depending on the equipment, improved availability of lane and side assist
* Improvement of tailgate opening with the key
* Minimization of charging noise caused by interferences
* Improvements in Powertrain control system
* Stabilization of the infotainment system
* Use the bidirectional charging of your 77Kw cupra Born (1)
* Other optimizations and bug fixes
OTA Update OUM1* for Born
This over-the-air update allows you to present the correct power inverter settings for future software updates. This will help future efficiency improvements.
The first time you start driving after the update, it may happen that an automatic calibration will be carried out that will limit the power to 30-40 km/h or 19-25 mph. When you accelerate to this speed, you will feel a brief jerk. After releasing and accelerating again, full driving power will be available.
Has anyone received either of these yet?
Looks like new OTA update coming soon...

I'm not quite sure I can parse that whole page. If my car was fresh in mid-Nov 2022, does that suggest I should be expecting any of these to apply to me? I have taken into the dealership for the last major update.
V2, no eBoost, in Blue.
Took the DCC and panoramic roof options.

This is a good question. If you read between the lines of all the updates on those pages, Borns built between 11.07.22 and 27.11.22 have been left out of all the major OTA updates so far - except for OUL9 which doesn't exclude any production dates. My sources claim this will be the last major update (3.7) for all 3.x Borns.MikeBornV2 wrote: βThu Oct 17, 2024 3:35 pm I'm not quite sure I can parse that whole page. I'll ask the mechanic at my dealership when I see him in 2 weeks.

The production year of my Born is 2023, don't know the month (it was delivered in March 2023 in Portugal).
The only two OTA updates I have been offered (and installed) were OUI6 and OUJ4. So far I haven't been offered either of the two new ones I listed above.

Interesting find. Their online information on updates is pretty appalling. This page hasn't been updated in a year
https://www.cupraofficial.co.uk/owners/ ... a-software hadn't seen the one you posted before.
Don't think there is anyway to actually see from within the car what OTA updates have actually been applied either unless I'm missing something
Car booked in for a service and warranty repairs late November so will be asking them when I am in.

There is no way to tell from the car which of the updates have been applied. The 2 that I applied didn't alter anything at all in the System Information display. Apart from the OUL9 update, which I haven't yet been "given", all the others actually state: "This update does not increase the software version." which, as a software engineer, is crazy to me

In principal it doesn't make sense - but only if you treat it like a monolithic software package, which it isn't. The MEB platform is a sprawling decentralized system. That's why you use an OBDII dongle to query the subsystem versions to know exactly what's installed.mluisbrown wrote: βFri Oct 18, 2024 2:43 pm There is no way to tell from the car which of the updates have been applied. The easily accessible version number generally refers to what software is running on the infotainment unit and also applies to concerted multi-system updates. However, many updates are targeted at systems other than the ICAS3 infotainment unit.
At which point would you change the version of the infotainment unit? When the steering wheel control unit gets updated? The motor controller? The camera? The climate control? The BMS? Etc., etc.
If you say all of them, then welcome to chaos. There are TPIs all the time that address particular subsystem problems that only some people have, eg. steering vibration, forgetting user settings, steering wheel heating, etc. You would need so many different version numbers for a myriad of subsystem update combinations. It just wouldn't make sense because it's not chronological or linear.

I realise that, but in that case the System Information screen should have a way to show the versions of each subsystem and, ideally, the date last updated.Elea4 wrote: βSat Oct 19, 2024 4:41 am In principal it doesn't make sense - but only if you treat it like a monolithic software package, which it isn't. Or it could display the updates that have been installed (eg OUI6, OUJ4 etc) and when they were installed. What the user sees now is basically meaningless.
