I have just taken delivery of a V3 with the same sound system and no expert to as whether it’s worth it or not but sounds ok to me and at least you get rear speakers.Had the car 2 weeks now and I find the brakes ( lack of ) shocking. Not sharp just spongey and unresponsive.Gone off piste a little and apologies that I wasn’t much help with your original query.

So the model I test drove had the standard audio, and the one I bought has the Sennheiser and it does sound better to me. I particularly enjoy the "Immersion" feature which is basically their name for Surround Sound. The best way to describe it is it makes the audio sound "more 3D" like it's all around you, rather than sounding flat like it's only coming from the dashboard area. I enjoy it.
This post is about the Tavascan, but the UI you can see here for the "Immersion" setting is the same as on my Born:

Hope that helps!
