Born and my MX5 came with winter wheels, both Continental 850P. On my MX5 they are borderline dangerous, zero grip when cold and dry when you push them slightly, reviews of 850p are not great. They are a 2014 generation but still for sale, in sure dealers get them very cheap.
The Born in so heavy that they feel ok so far, although traction control flashes easy if you turn it off and get heavy on the pedal at junctions etc.
You can’t go too far wrong with any premium brand of winter, they are night and day from summer. My dad has summer on his Leon years back and I used to get out the car push him out of slight slopes after snow fell in southern Scotland, eventually persuaded him to get winter (Alpin 5 tyres I believe) then he would go out a drive in the snow just for fun and laugh at people getting stuck!
