Born has 7 speakers now

I’ve just been on the cupra born website and done a build and it says it has 7 speakers now not 5. I’m due for a delivery in October so hopefully I’ll get 7 speakers not 5!

Does that mean they added rear speakers?

Sounds like rear speakers to me, shame I missed out on that.

Weirdly enough the ID3 still just states 'Speakers in front'

Just received my V1 today - build date was sometime in August and I can confirm that it does have functioning rear speakers !! Which I am very happy about.
I've been regretting not spec'ing the beats pack ever since I ordered in Jan so this was a nice surprise, (although should have been standard right from the beginning)

I’m glad to hear that you got the rear speakers. Out of interest are they the small ones placed next to the door handles and at the bottom of the door? So one in each front doors and two in each rear doors and the one on the dash?
Hopefully when I get mine I get rear speakers too!
