I picked up my V3 77Kwh last week. I got the Tech M and Pilot L so have all the assistants. Just getting used to the feel of the car. But loving it so far.
One thing I have yet to figure is the Eco assist, the manual says there are different symbols for junctions and roundabouts etc and one to tell you to lift off the accellerator. But I have not managed to see these. Does this only work in certain modes, like range mode, of over certain speeds? I want to get the best range possible out of it.
Also what is the point of the green/blue bars in around the speed on the dash?
Does anyone else find the flood of red in the reverse camera at night annoying? Obviously the camera is too close to the rear lights. Never had that on the Kia I had previously.

You need to have ACC engaged with neither brake nor accelerator pedal engaged. Which model year do you have? And do you have Travel Assist in your Pilot L package?
This is all in the manual:
Blue is how much power you have available. Depends on your current SoC and battery temp. Green is how much you're recouperating whenever you decelerate - which can be limited if your battery is full (with nowhere for recovered power to go) and your physical brakes are instead used.

Thanks Elea4 It is 2024 model. Yes I do have travel assist but I have not got as far as trying that out yet. It seems a bit too much of not looking at the road while you press the buttons to turn it on.
In the manual the eco assist is temporarily disabled if ACC is used which is why I can not work out if it is doing anything at all. Not yet seen any of the assist symbols.
Eco Assist is temporarily deactivated if:
● The Performance or CUPRA driving profile
is used.
● Driving with adaptive cruise control (ACC).

It is off by default, it is in Drive profile menu (double tap) Driver assist top right then Smart assist (I think).
It just gives you tips on how to drive more economically.
It's a waste of time (IMO), just learn how the car works, how the modes work, develop that to suit how you want to drive the car (B or D or switching between modes during the journey. or using ACC in D where the car slows for roundabouts etc), learn how EVs work ie, expect the worst economy in cold motorway journeys, the best in short start and stop warm weather journeys.....etc etc.
Best economy is to always use regen, so in B it only uses regen when off pedal and regens more when you press the brake pedal, then uses the brakes when you press hard enought (and the wee green bar is at max regen and you want more braking) and in D it regens when you press the brake to the end of the green bar, then uses physical brakes when you press harder. Using D to roll always helps when possible.

Congrats on your new V3! I’ve noticed with the Eco Assist that it works best in the Eco or Range modes, and the symbols for junctions and roundabouts pop up more when you’re trying to save energy—usually when you’re at lower speeds. The green/blue bars around the speedometer are there to show you the optimal acceleration range for better efficiency, so it’s a helpful guide if you’re aiming for max range. As for the reverse camera, yeah, I’ve had the same issue with the red glare from the rear lights at night—kind of annoying, but I think it's just the way the camera’s positioned. You get used to it, but I feel like it could be better.
