Wireless charger useless. Worst bit of tech on car. KESSY another matter. Wouldn't do without that now.

Yup, Borns with keyless use Kessy Advanced as mentioned above.

To stay on topic, the Tech M packages specifically add 1. Car2X (very questionable value due to low adoption rates and competing standards), 2. Kessy Advanced and 3. the wireless charging module in the centre console that also amplifies the GPS and mobile signals thanks to a secondary amplifier and antenna:

If you want a wireless charger, you can simply order a 3rd party charger which is simple to install.

Outdated nonsense and FUD. It was almost true several years back but most (if not all) manufacturers have changed technology so it is no greater a risk than keyed entry which was being duped before keyless existed.
Yawn. Not relevant to the Born.
I've had KESSY cars for about 10 years and never known anyone have one stolen. Sure, it happens but more often it's home invasion and stealing keys which is worse.
What's your agenda?

Agenda? Simply to correct misinformation that, as you said, "most (if not all) manufacturers have changed technology". I showed my sources, namely ADAC's research.

Kessy was vulnerable to relay attacks until they introduced movement sensors in the keys in 2019 - which was only a stopgap - then finally UWB (Kessy Advanced) four years ago.

That said, MEB's Kessy Advanced is secure for the time being.
