Hi,
I am now the proud owner (6 weeks ago) of a 23 plate Born, moving up from a VW e-golf (2019), which I had for just over 4 years. Range being the only negative, on a good day 140, during the winter nearer 115.

However, on hand over, the car had been charged to 100% and showed a range of 220. This weekend I took a trip to Chester (162 miles round trip), expecting to come close to max range I charged to 100%; I charge to 80% normally. Maximum range showed up as 298 miles. On returning home, display showed range 140, battery 45%, efficiency 5.5 ml/kWh. I drive like an OAP, as I am one!!! Avoiding motorways, no faster than 60, regeneration on max, and using cruise control. Of course, it was a warm day, temp about 21–24 C.

The Cupra site states a maximum range of 264 for the 58 kW battery, does anyone else have a range near to 300????

In the Summer I regularly see upper 200s. Never hit 300 though. I did a 28 mile run today that came up as 4.9 miles/kW and if you project that out it's 4.9 x 58 thats 284 miles.
My long term average never reset over 2 years, 2 Winters 2 Summers is 4.2, 243 average range.
More than happy with that.

That looks like a healthy year round average. How does winter compare to summer.???!

I still get around upper 3s or low 4s. I don't use AC in winter and in 4 years of EV ownership I dress to be warm at around 16C. I only use heating normally to keep the windscreen clear and perhaps cracked windows open to change the air a little which reduced the cabin humidity. It sounds extreme but it works for me and Winter and Summer ranges are not vastly different.
