Has anyone had any problems with their Born's auto wipers?

I have checked the setting on the infotainment screen, and I have it selected, but whenever I put the wipers on to the intermittent setting using the stalk, to activate them, it just seems to work as a regular intermittent wipe. The speed does vary slightly occasionally, but the wipers will usually work when it isn't raining, or not speed up when the rain gets heavier.

Any ideas?

Maybe worth checking sensor in upper windscreen just under camera as it has a gel bonding rain sensor to windscreen that can be a problem.

Thanks, yeah, I had heard that can be an issue, but just wondering if there could be anything else, as its a right faff getting to the garage to get it checked out.

Any ideas what to look for around the sensor? Would there be any bubbles, or sign of a problem?

Do you have the sensitivity turned right down via the 5 position switch on the wiper stalk? 1 from most sensitive usually does me.

It's not that it doesn't wipe, it wipes too much. So when I have it on the intermittent wiper setting and it has the auto wipers on in the infotainment settings, it will operate as standard intermittent wipers when it isn't raining.

I've tried changing the sensitivity and it doesn't change anything.

Pretty sure it's the gel, having had a look.

Phoned to book it in with the garage, but they won't do it on a Saturday, which means I'd need a courtesy car as its 45 minutes away, and I'm not paying £20 for the privilege of them fixing a fault on a 6 week old car!

Going to get in touch with the sales guy I dealt with to see if he can help sort it.
