I understand that the car is best charged to 80%.
But if you know you are going on a long journey how to you get it to charge to 100 %?
I have set the car to 100%
I have set the app to 100%
I have set my charger app to 100 % my charger is an Evec charger. It charges my e-partner without any issues

I have left the car plugged in for 2 days and still only 86%

I don’t need it to charge every day to full capacity but need to know if I have a long journey coming up that it will do a full charge

Our V3 77kw can definitely charge to 90%. Try this lower level and see what happens. I use an Andersen A2.

It sounds like you're doing everything right, but it might be worth checking if there's any charge limit setting in the car's system that overrides your app settings. Some EVs have built-in features to prevent overcharging for battery longevity, and they might limit the charge even when set to 100%. Try manually checking the car's settings or resetting them to see if that helps. If it's still not reaching 100%, there might be an issue with the charger or a firmware update that could improve charging behavior.

Firstly check the car itself is set to charge to 100%, remember that every time you want to charge to 100% you need to set the car itself to do so, it will default to 80% everytime. So you need to go into in car settings and again tell it 100%

Secondly the charger, two things to look at, is it set to charge to 100% and is schedule charging on? Some chargers even once told to charge to 100% will default to charge to 80% by xxx o’clock

Also the charger setting, is it set eco or eco+ if so it will only charge on solar or cheap rate electricity (dependant on your tariff) and if charging on that setting only charges to 86% the the charger turns off the car will now set itself back to the default 80%, so you’ll need to go back to the car and tell it to charge to 100% again.

So assuming your planning a long drive, use eco+ during the previous day if the car is home, then (assuming you have an EV tariff) once the suns gone in pop back to the car, set charging to 100% in car, then set the charger to 100%

Now you will get 100% charge.
