It's true that the brake fluid needs to be changed every 2 years regardless of distance driven and it has to do with degradation over time, not actual use. It's basically the same as with ICE's engine oil after 1-2 years.
With an EV you do save on brake discs and pads but not with brake fluid.

Went by the shop last month for maintenance. Also had to do the brake fluid. Perhaps it's overkill as I doubt it collects moisture so fast, but better safe than sorry. Don't want to cheap out on breaks to be honest.

£189!? Mine charged £350 last week.

Brake fluid, pollen filter and the rest to rip us off. They were the cheaper of the two dealers near us (Woking and Slough)

We booked through www.cupraofficial.co.uk and it came to £280.92 (£12 pickup/dropoff fee). Then they added £68.40 for the pollen filter because it apparently wasn't in the quote. Both Woking and Slough are equally bad dealers, I keep disliking one so much I switch to the other then vica versa.

Mines going in next week.

I was told the brake fluid doesn't have to be done on the first service, but it would be checked.

Also told the pollen filter was a service item, but if it wasn't done, the only affect on the warranty would be if not changing it led to anything, and he said there's not anything that it could lead to really. So I said I'd do it myself.

They said that the £180ish (can't remember off the top my head) inspection service is sufficient for the warranty.

I have just had mine serviced yesterday (2 years)

When I got there to pick it up they said the bill is £265.20 which I immediately questioned, had they confused me with an ICE car?

Apparently, they changed my key battery for £7.00 but apart from that, they just changed my pollen filter?!

I feel like I have been fleeced by these crooks and am now looking at where to complain, however from past experince with Cupra, it'll more than likely fall on deaf ears.

To top it all off, my car has come back and my regenerative breaking is now all messed up and it isn't breaking half as hard as it was when I lift my foot in performance. I've called the dealer and they said you can adjust it in the settings... For the record, you cannot, that I can see. So now it's got to go back in.
