Is there any way to connect to my phone to watch YouTube?

No, there is no way to play YouTube videos from your phone.
There are some 3rd party devices that claim to let you "add" YouTube and other apps, but honestly I wouldn't trust them. It looks like they are basically an Android device that screen mirrors to your car's screen, in a similar way to those gadgets that add CarPlay / Android Auto to cars that don't support it.
