I'm waiting for my VZ and have had the Ohme home pro fitted and will be switching tariff to Inteligent Octopus so am keen to find out what the best strategy is for setting up a reliable charging during cheap rates. From reading posts on the forum it sounds like schedules can be set via car, ohme or IO so what is the best approach? thx
100% the best way is to

Install the Ohme app and set it all up.
Add some routines to Ohme as you require
Set the Cupra app. Remember your Cupra id username and password!
Set the Ohme charger to not need authorisation but disable the front buttons
Install and set up the Octopus app and choose to set up IOG using Ohme. Don't use the Cupra integration

Check the installer puts the CT clamp around the correct cable in your meter box

Sign up for electroverse and get a card

Enable low voltage battery protection

With all of the above, it'll work perfectly

Thx hopefully the ct clamp is on the right cable though not sure which one it should be on.
Is enabling low voltage battery protection done in the car or one of the apps.
Can't wait to get the car to try this stuff out.

Stops the 12v from draining by using some of the HV battery to keep it topped up.

So... got Octopus Intelligent thingy and I have to say it's worked pretty flawlessly when plugging in the car.

But, the screen in the hallway doesn't work with it at all and apparently Octopus knew that when they installed it. It's not compatible with this tariff and never will be.... even though when they installed it, they said it would be.
So the screen is effectively useless

They are 'working' on finding a screen that is compatible, but lets face it.... that won't happen.

Why is everyone a crook these days
