Re: Too many Aussies are barely enough!

Yes, I've driven in OZ, and it can be hot, but Victoria doesn't get as hot as Saudi, with summer temps up to 50-odd centigrade. Where do you park in Saudi? Anywhere there's shade!

Re: Too many Aussies are barely enough!

That looks very tidy indeed!
It reminds me of my time in Saudi where it was absolutely necessary to have these dash covers, so there were loads of local upholsterers who made these in all the shades to match your car.

Re: Intelligent Octopus schedule charging not working!!

That’s interesting as in my experience completely the opposite is the case. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with the charging processes. The first time I tried IO Go, it did an immediate short charge, stopped itself, then worked as per the planned schedule. The next time I tried it, the ch...

Re: Intelligent Octopus schedule charging not working!!

One thing I’d check (as it caused this exact issue for me) when you plug in you will almost certainly be outside of the 23:30 - 05:30 low rate schedule. When you plug in at let’s say dinner time the car should start to charge, after a few moments it will stop charging (I assume this is what you mea...

Re: New Born owner here saying hello *Wave*

Can I just ask, why you didn’t put the charger further back along the wall? Wouldn’t need drape it over the car no matter which way around you parked. I have to agree. I'm pretty pernickety about hand-washing the car, but I would expect most people would balk at draping a heavy cable over the car's...

Re: Headlight Range Control

The owners' manual references this as an automatic adjustment at startup, based on the load.
I've never seen the message myself, but if it only happens once I'd treat it as a software glitch. If it keeps happening , check with your dealer.

Re: Ohme Pro/ Intelligent Octopus

Big downside of this, of course, is that with Intelligent Octopus you are missing out on the cheap daytime slots which, as well as charging the car during the day, reduce your overall household rate during these periods too! Over November I more or less stopped charging overnight and have been gett...

Re: Intelligent Octopus and Cupra

So had my Born V2 since June, love it. Got an Ohme Home Pro and on IOG…..not so in love. Everything is setup as per the guidance so I think all is good - one routine in Ohme, no price cap set, no routines set in car, etc. However, it recently seems to always charge immediately and whilst the Ohme C...
