Re: Full range
When heating or cooling the car, using air recirculation has a big positive impact - don't expend all that energy immediately heating or cooling the car then immediately dump it and heat/cool some more. Maintaining 22C in the cabin? That's toasty, 17C is plenty for me. If its a cold but sunny day, ...

Re: Cheap and easy wireless phone charger
To be honest, it doesn't affect the mat anyway at all. The coil is about 1mm think, so you can't notice it yet still powers the phone. Bear in mind that these coils fit into plastic holders more than a 2mm thick. I placed mine in the middle of the blanking plate, and powers my samsung fold 3 with a...

Re: Cheap and easy wireless phone charger
Hi Ice o
I do like this mod and it seems straight forward.
The rubber trim lays on top of the coil that must have some thickness so just wondered whether the trim sits down nicely where it should be.

Re: Hello! - Car finally arrives next week :)
Hi All, I have been following this forum for a few months now in readiness for my new car which is FINALLY coming next week. Once I take delivery and if it's not hammering down with rain I'll upload some pics. Have gone for a few extras including the panoramic room and the pack that includes the wi...

Re: Full range
My general rule is to stick to 80% and to avoid 100% charges apart from in the following situations: I have a long journey planned the following day and need the range I find a free charger (ain't noone going to pass up free electrons!) I've accidentally left it on 100% after buggering about with t...

Re: Full range
Thanks for the feedback 😀 What's your opinion on 100% charge vs the 80% the car tells you..believe its saves the battery life, but does it really I'm nearly 2 years into EVs now firstly with an ID3 and then my Born. The history of the charging has been a regular topic on both forums. On one hand yo...

Re: 19" Typhoon Copper Upgrade!!!
I have developed a self-adhesive decal set for blinging up the standard 19" Typhoon alloys that come on the V2 models. I really wanted to go for the copper version, but it meant a factory order, which would delay my Born by months. So, I worked with the lads at Onyx Tinting & Wrapping in M...

Re: 77 V3
No I didnt specify any tyres. They are Continental ECO Contact 6's. My 1st long journey was good. 154mile 3hours 20 4.0m per KWH that was impressive. Just to put that journey in context, what speeds were you doing? Mine will only approach 4.0 miles per kWh on warm Summer's day if sat on the motorwa...

Re: Is the user interface and the touch sensing buttons that bad?
For me it's just another small tweak in adapting to a different car. Not a big deal.
