Re: Born mobilephone holders?

I have a USB-C charging cable coming out from under the centre arm rest and just rest my phone on the sliding door of the centre console.

Re: Keyless Lock/Unlock

I've also had no issues with mine. When I got my car (just less than a month ago), the dealer specifically warned be not to touch the exterior of the door handle, just the inside, as mentioned above. Otherwise it can get confused as it's not sure whether you're locking or unlocking.

Re: Real life range

TeslaBjorn on YouTube has the most comprehensive list of real world EV ranges where he actually drives each car he tests on a motorway circuit at 90kmh and 120kmh and from that calculates the real world range. He only tested the Born in winter with a temp of around 3C with winter tyres and he manage...

Re: How long until current trip is reset?

So, based on a few recent drives it seems like the “since start” trip data only resets after about 2 hours of not using the car.

Seat back protectors

Does anyone know of any seat back protectors that fit the Born bucket seats? My kids are always putting their feet against them leaving them dirty and potentially scuffed. The only ones I’ve seen are for cars with normal adjustable headrests. There are some for the Tesla Model 3 which has similar se...

Re: Born coming 5th April

You only need the My Cupra app. I think the Cupra Connect app is for the non-EV Cupra models.

You don’t even NEED the My Cupra app although it can be useful. You can check on the charge state a location of the car and tell it to start heating the car remotely etc.

Re: Born no more!

Hope Portugal weathers nice right now! Your aircon will soon eat into those km/kwh! Starting to get nice sunny days 😄 The air con doesn’t eat into the km/kwh as much as winter heating does in cold climates, not least because AC works like a heat pump (in reverse), whereas heating uses energy direct...

Re: Always leave the car connected to charger if possible?

Thanks all 🙏

Regarding the disconnecting issue, I've only had it on my home charger, not on any public charger.

Re: Always leave the car connected to charger if possible?

One reason I was asking was because I had plugged the car in yesterday afternoon at about 60% and I have it set to always charge immediately to 80%, and then unlock the cable. Later that evening I saw the cable was unlocked (no light, white or green) in the charge port, but this morning when I got t...

Always leave the car connected to charger if possible?

Tesla recommends owners who have a home charger to always leave the car connected to the charger as much as possible. Partly so that certain features like "Sentry mode" don't drain the battery and also so that pre-heating the car is done with current from the charger and not using the batt...
