Re: EV Home Charging costs vs Petrol Costs!!!
Some great feedback above from all, cery interesting. I currently can’t find an EV tarrif with energy companies. Although when looking into one, i noticed that (although off peak timings / costing was extremely low) the peak charge were quite high, higher than the standArd charge (obviously Oct pri...

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control
On my Tarraco you can program it out with ODB11. I should think the same can be done with the Born.

Re: EV Home Charging costs vs Petrol Costs!!!
When we decided to go EV in Jan 2022 , the decision was made upon: 1. No congestion charge for London (until Dec 2025) 2. Stupidly Cheap parking in Westminster 3. Super Low BIK tax 4. Low cost per mile Luckily for us, even with the expected cost of electricity to sky rocket, financially the Born sti...

Re: Anyone managed to order yet?
Has anyone else's Car got stuck at Emden Port? Mine was built in early July and is apparently stuck at Emden waiting for a full ship. How long is a normal wait? Only issue is the dealer originally told me when I called that it was in the country so I sold my existing car and now have no form of tra...

Re: Help with VIN#s on V2s
Finally some progress. Spoke to the dealership manager and he agreed that after 3 months of status 30 something is not right. He offered to supply me a different vehicle but the price when I ordered is currently near £3000 more. This is the main reason I did not cancel and order again as I knew I wo...

Re: My Born small improvement’s
No I used the coding above and OBDeleven can unlock the head unit. That's great news! Looking forward to doing mine (when it finally gets delivered to me) but I'll be installing a PUZU C7 DSP as well, since I have one spare from upgrading the ICE my Tarraco. Would you say this set of wires is the s...

Re: My Born small improvement’s
Just managed to code them, have to say they sound fantastic. 20C77B36-B531-43D5-B647-F2B38EC9FD7B.jpeg Did you need the dongle to unlock the head unit first or was it solely ODB11? Re: Help with VIN#s on V2s
Thanks for the replies which indicated the newest car is a 13xxx. Mine is a 15xxx which, if looking at the vin's supplied so far, it's not surprising I still do not have delivery..
However, my mates one, vapour v3, is a 17xxx.
Go figure!
Seat have escalated it to Germany, lets see what they say.
