Re: What is a Pilot L pack (UK)
- I adore the top-view for parking. The additional front camera between the CUPRA letters is used to create the 360-degree view. - Park assist works great 90% of the time, albeit at a slower pace. Sure I can park, but why not get the car do it for me instead when it can? :D - I use Travel Assist all...

Re: Reflection on inside of windscreen
I see it, but glad I have the HUD, as the area around the HUD on mine does not reflect, the Cupra I tested with no HUD had worse reflections. fwiw I actually found myself far more distracted by the reflections of the black whole where the HUD sits. That and a micro-focus disparity between the refle...

Re: Volume when opening door setting
I've followed long and ridiculous threads about Cupra's and dealer's responses so far and it's looking doubtful that this will ever function properly.

Re: New OTA update
I picked up my car on Monday. I think this is the latest update version. Also you can see the red dots on the sliders, why can these light up lol 1731 is already outdated and the latest version is now 1741. There was some kind of bug with the wifi. I'm pretty sure this is the brand new TPI for it. ...

Re: Update 3.2.1 now available - TPI 93S2
Have any improvements to the Satnav function been included with the 3.2.1 update. Awful interface even if you ignore the lag. Thanks. One of the reasons for the display lag on the Born is "Komponentenschutz", aka Component Protection, aka GEKO. It's a protective software mechanism that pr...

Re: Cupra Born Driver Modes - Effect on Range
I'm fine with how the driving modes can be changed but I'll be blowed if they make any significant difference to the range I get. The "Cupra" and "Range" modes give me almost identical economy figures. I know that is pretty hard to set up accurate testing methodology but I drive...

Re: Opinion of Beats audio?
Thanks that is really helpful. We don't have front rear balance and looking at our vin, the model year is 2023. Disappointing given that we only took delivery last week. MY2024 was only produced as of mid-August. Considering 4-8 week shipping times being the norm, you were clearly on the cusp of re...

Re: Opinion of Beats audio?
We have just got a new V2. I thought the 7 speakers included one each in the rear doors. However there is no sound from the rear. Dealer says you only get rear speakers with Beats. Are they right. (Can't really tell if there are actually speakers in the rear doors although the grill is there. ) Tha...

Re: Cost of Extras
The heat pump and pano sunroof is no longer available on 77kw models. This is stated on the Cupra website Born pricelist download. Thanks for clearing this up for me. I didn't realise that 77kw was spec'd differently. Damn, I should have gone for the smaller battery  Why though? The return-on-...

Re: Failure of 5F module
This gives a detailed description of 5F:

You'll quickly realize that 5F is actually just a module address of a system that's housed in the ICAS3 infotainment unit. So that's the part that's needed here.
