Re: Charging issues
I set the charge routine on the Cupra app not on the wall charger app. UK regulation means to minimise impact of many off peak EV charging at the same time, wall chargers randomly adjust start time by about 10 minutes.

Re: My Cupra app
They've hit new levels of buggery-uppery today. Apparently, a change made on their back-end last night has caused all Cupra Borns to be continuously waking up (you can even hear the clicking of the HV battery in and out) which is resulting in the LV battery (i.e. the normal 12v car supply) to be fl...

You may want to consult your energy provider as they may have a preferred charger if you intend to subscribe to an off peak tariff.

Re: Should I Buy A Born
Yes the 77kwh Born has only two rear seats because the space under the third seat is used for extra battery storage. No. Not even close. I'm not sure about the UK, but in Germany you can get the "High Five Pack" as an option to the 77kWh battery which gives you 3 seats in the back: Screen...

Re: Should I Buy A Born
Yes the 77kwh Born has only two rear seats because the space under the third seat is used for extra battery storage. The 20 inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres do enable enjoyable handling but does reduce efficiency compared to a 58kwh 19 inch standard setup. But we like the 77kwh with th...

Re: The faulty cooling pump saga (New Cupra Borns)
And VW Group wonder why they are suffering "customer reluctance" for their EVs and thus having to close down production lines.

Re: Routines not working
Our 77kwh Cupra does not charge with our Andersen A2 wall charger. We had no issues with the 58kwh V2 we had on loan. Our 77kwh Cupra does not seem to detect the timed charge from the Andersen at 0030, aligned to the Octopus Go tariff. I tried setting a Routine on the Cupra for 0030 but did not wak...

Re: Hello
We received our 77kw V3 with DCC and heat pump. Noticed - DCC even in most Comfort setting is more firm than non DCC - A/C seems much more effective especially the power of the fan - Beats much better than the standard sound system, bass much better Also I think the 2023 model has better materials o...
