Re: Intelligent Octopus and Cupra

I've recently tried to switch over to Intelligent Octopus but am not getting very far. I've sent this all as a support email but got no reply. Anyone else seeing the same issue? I only joined Octopus two weeks ago so maybe I need to wait a bit longer? I posted earlier about switching from E.on to I...

What's the easiest way to check for recalls?
There's a link in the very first post on this thread (on page 1). It works for UK vehicles.

Re: Intelligent Octopus and Cupra

A bit away from the recent thread. Anyone else having any trouble moving to IO? Thanks Dave I've recently had a Solar Panel setup installed. I transferred to Octopus on 23rd September to the only tariff they would offer me, Flexible Octopus. Once that was all set up, I requested a switch to Intelli...

Re: Rear Parking Sensors Unavailable/Impact Warnings

I nearly broke my neck yesterday.... the rear parking sensors jammed (and I mean jammed) the brakes on with a high pitched warning tone when backing into an entirely empty space. Thought I had hit something. No cars for 3 spaces either side of the one I was aiming for. Can only presume it saw a row...

Has the proactive speed limiter been set to "on" by mistake? Check the Owners Manual ( https://www.cupraofficial.com/owners/cu ... nuals.born ) at around page 160/161 for details.

Re: Mental insurance hikes....

Just got my LV car insurance renewal... more than doubled  Now touching £800. 55 yr's old, 20k miles a year. I recently had my renewal quote at just over £800.00. I went online and told them I would not renew and they knocked £150.00 off the renewal quote. That made it cheaper than any other...

Re: Golf R to Cupra Born....

I had a long line of Golf GTi's and R's for over 20 years.... now a Born v3 with e-boost and Firestorm wheels. Spoiler alert - it's not a Golf R. If I had not moved from the Scottish Borders to Tamworth I would not have changed as I would definitely have missed the handling and performance on the ki...

Re: Panoramic sunroof head space eat-up

I had a look and it seems to me that if you have the interior sunroof cover rolled back you will have more headroom rather than less. My guess is that even with the cover closed you will still have the same clearance as a non-pano roof version. Be aware that the pano roof starts quite well back from...

Re: depreciation

I miss the ability to carry stuff. I have a roof rack, even thought apparently you are not supposed to. How is it the future? We can't even build a railway (HS2), let alone install enough chargers for the population to use. Clearly the plan is to reduce road users in the longer run. But lets face i...
