Re: V1/V2 Query

Another V1 with 19" Typhoons here.

As above, easiest way to spot a V2 from a V1 apart from wheels is the rear window tints.

Re: OTA update?

ours wont even do the update, in the box you press to update, its greyed out so i cant even initiate it. it then says it will be performed when the car is turned off but doesnt actually do anything. Mine was doing this, but after a few days I've had the message saying the car will go to 30-40kmh et...

Re: Wipers...

I had a problem with my wipers either wiping too much, or not at all. It turned out to be the sensor wasn't seated properly with the gel pad to the windscreen and had to be remounted. Check the round sensor from the outside that sits behind the rear view mirror, if there looks like there are air bub...

Re: Recall Goodyear tyres.

Check my vin and my car has the bonnet pin and tyre recall.

Checked and it is on 19" Goodyears.

Re: Dashcam Choice

Go back to the supplier and tell them that as its not fit for purpose you'd like them to either fix it, or a full refund. They can't just fob you off, as up to 6 months, under the sale and supply of goods act, it is up to them to prove it isn't a manufacturing fault, otherwise its assumed that the ...

Re: Dashcam Choice

I had a nextbase 522 installed. The camera was installed by RS Connect who were totally incompetent. They had to come 5 times to sort out all the issues then today the front camera fell off the screen because the sticky pad failed. Even though the camera is only 5 months old neither Nextbase or RS ...

OTA updates

Are we expecting Cupra to start OTA updates any time soon?

I had an iD.3 for 10 months in 21/22, and had a couple of updates, I've had the Born since July 2022 and had no updates.

I'm on software version 3.0, but know that it's not the latest version. Does anyone know anything?

Re: Strange noise when driving

Still got it.

It hasn't been noticeable/there as much during the cooler winter months, but I have recently noticed it becoming more noticeable now that the weather's getting a bit warmer.

Re: My new Born

Having read a couple of things on here this week, thought I,d check a couple of things... Looks like my Android Auto has updated! Much better! 20230211_163217.jpg And I tested out the rear camera washer. It has a washer nozzle just to the left of it as you look at it, which sprays yhe camera when th...

Re: first decent trip and cruise

So had our first reasonably long drive this week in the Born, From Durham to Leeds, 200 mile round trip. Managed to get there with 54% remaining, averaged 3.7m/kWh (I think) travelling between 62 to 68mph, so not bad. Stopped off on the way back, as the lad needed something to eat, and topped up at ...
