Great stuff!
I'm also on Intelligent Octopus Go, but very, very rarely ever see slots outside of the normal off-peak period (23:30 -> 05:30), so probably don't make as much use of this as I could. Any tricks to unlocking more cheap-rate electricity outside of these hours?

Re: Cupra Born Support in Home Assistant
Small bug fix (0.7.1 beta) pushed to HACS. Will give this a few days and then push out more generally.

Updated version (0.7) pushed in beta to HACS to support newer cars that weren't picking up door lock status correctly. Give it a spin!

Re: Update 3.2.1 now available - TPI 93S2
Agreed, that's very poor. Before mine went in I phoned them and asked what they would do if it proved to have a battery issue. They were totally prepared for this eventuality, and said they'd have to send the car to Exeter - the nearest battery centre - for that work to be done, and they'd provide ...

Car booked into service tomorrow. (was booked back in July). Just had a terse text message: "Your appointment has been cancelled. Works required need to be carried out at a battery centre. Nearest is Doncaster. Sorry." It was booked in for software updates too, but obviously they've ignore...

Re: Intelligent Octopus and Cupra
I've switched to IO in the last week. I chose to use the charger (Ohme Home Pro) rather than the car as the smart interface, as this has a couple of advantages: 1) It's car-agnostic, which seems a good thing as the charging schedule is about my house, not my car 2) Because the charger understands th...

Re: Does the born have 1 or 2 reverse lights?
i.e. its a coding issue, and with the right coding it would be possible to have both reversing lights, and both rear fog lights working. IIRC, the regulations were changed a number of years ago such that fog lights on cars had to be single and not double, so they couldn't be confused with brake lig...

14,000 miles here and not too much to complain about. Still very happy with the car, so if they'd just stop breaking the API back-end, I'll be a happy camper.

Re: My Cupra App not working tonight
Is it like somebody forgot to put some money in the electric meter. Is the fault that basic? Broadly speaking, this is spot on. Modern IT systems use certificates to secure them, and these are time limited (normally 12 months, but the cheapo, free ones used by Cupra are 3 months) and must be renewe...
